Ethan's Doctor appointment

Ethan had his doctor's appointment today. He weighed 10.5 pounds and was 22inch long. He was in the 10th %ile for weight and 25th %ile for height. He also received his 2month vaccine shoots and cried the entire time. He's still a little moody from the shoots...the areas are still kinda sore. Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow.

Matt's Departure

Well, Matt left today and I must admit it was much harder to say goodbye than I had anticipated. I think the dog is having the hardest time right now. He keeps looking out the window waiting for Matt to come home.

I miss him already and he's been gone less than 12 hours. I guess knowing the length of his deployment is what's getting to me. I told him a few days before he left that we were truly MADE for each other ( Matt, Ashley, Dude and Ethan If you put together our first initial it spells MADE...corny I know) therefore we'll make it through this.


I miss him, he's my heart, and I can't wait till he comes back home.
